We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and you may need to cancel your trip. This policy outlines the cancellation terms for all services offered by M/S Amarnathjiyatra.com (including tour packages, travel services, and helicopter tours). Please note that these terms are subject to change, so we recommend reviewing them carefully before booking.

Key Points:

• All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to amarnathyatratourism@gmail.com. Phone or WhatsApp cancellations will not be accepted.
• Cancellation fees will be applied based on the timeframe of cancellation relative to the commencement date of the Amarnath Pilgrimage for 2026 (01st Jul – 28th August 2026).
• Helicopter tickets are completely non-refundable regardless of the cancellation time.

Cancellation Fee Schedule:

• 90 days or less before the start of the Pilgrimage: No Refund
• 91 days to 365 days before the start of the Pilgrimage: 50% of the Package Cost (provided full payment is received). A minimum cancellation charge of 50% applies if only a deposit has been paid.

Additional Information:

• Weather Cancellations: If your travel is affected by weather conditions and your helicopter ticket is stamped, you may be eligible for a full refund in the form of a credit note valid for 365 days.
• Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances like pandemics, curfews, wars, natural disasters, or similar events, your tour may be canceled, and the remaining tour cost (after deducting a 25% administrative charge) may be adjusted for a booking of the same type in the following year.
• Itinerary Changes: We reserve the right to modify the itinerary as needed due to unforeseen circumstances.
